Mission Inspirations: challenge accepted

Mike Dekin on youtube has started a FB challenge group a few months back. Mission Inspiration.  Every month, he puts up a video with a challenge of 10 things you need to do in order for the mission. He then does his art journal page for the mission.

Most of these I've done on video. I think the first one is the only one that isn't on video. i did film it, but I tried to voice over for it, the audio wasn't matching up with the video, so I got rid of it.

Art journal page: You're gonna miss me when I'm gone?

I've been working in my junk journal. Some of the pages I've done can be found on my youtube channel. Then there are some that I didn't do videos on, like this page. I am the first to admit, I haven't been in a happy mood as of late.  Or as my mom puts it "your never happy." There are times I am happy, but there are times I totally put up a happy go lucky front. This page that I did last weekend represents how I have been feeling as of late. And kinda still do.

The page started off with gluing napkins to the page. Next I applied some paint. I used the Distress paint in peeled paint. I used punchenllia with bronze craft paint. I cut out the girl from a magazine. I gave her some butterfly wings. I glued her on the page. The words are lyrics from the song "Cups(when I'm gone)" I used my label maker. I went around the words with the gelly roll white pen. I wrote the other words under it.. I also went around the girl with the white pen too.

Coffee, coffee, coffee

Yesterday I got a new plate of stamps (plate 1480) from Viva Las VegaStamps! Today I played with a couple of them.

I tused the coffee cups embossing folder from Tim Holtz and sprites some Molted Chocolate Dylusions spray inside embossing folder. then ran it through my big shot. While that was drying I stamped the coffee guy. colored him with Prisma color pencils. I stamped the coffee cup on white cardstock and then stamped it again on Kraft for the sleeve.Once the embossed paper was dried, I used Miracle tape to attach it to the Kraft card base. I taped the guy to the cup with Miracle tape. I put foam tape on the cup and stuck it to the embossed. I stamped the coffee cup again on white cardstock just for the sleeve I then stamped the "coffee, coffee, coffee" stamp on the sleeve. cut it out and used foam tape to attach it to the card.
