NoNoJouMo day 4
I did day 3 but have to take pictures of it again. But here is day 4 The prompt was starts. Used star template, and star punchinella, and a star stencil. with craft paints, distress crackle paints. The pink star I dabbed some bubble gum pink Dylusion paint through a start template. cut it out and glued it on the page. used rock candy and diamond S T I C K L E S!
NaNoJouMo day 2
There was some confusion on what the prompt was for this day. There was a picture of one of Dawn's wart work and also there was the word above. I went with the word above. I was going to do something about the movie Up! but it went another direction with the collage. I did film me working on the page. But when I went to publish the video with Windows Movie Maker it didn't want to publish. Sigh.

NaNoJouMo 2016 day 1
Its NaNoJouMo time again! And this year I gave all my stuff with me! :) Here is my page for day 1. The prompt was "Hello my name is" Whe I first saw it I immediately thought of the movie "The Princess Bride" and then I also thought of "Hello I Love You" by the Doors.
I did something that I've been want to do for a long time, A process video, but couldn't figure out how. My webcam is old and for a lack of a better term...crappy. Not very good picture quality. think its like 3mp. It was cheap. Think my dad paid like $10 for it. Anyway, I decided to do it with my digital camera. The parts are all uploaded to YouTube. I just have to put it together and speed it up add music and all that stuff, without pulling my hair out. :)
Till the video is live here are pics of the page. I don't know if I'll do videos for every prompt. I just wanted to see if I can do it.

Postcards
Last night I was playing around with a piece a postcard from a casino. The card was 9 x6. I put Gesso on both sides of the card. then i did layers of craft paints, book paper, scrapbook papers, stamps, and spray inks. I then decided to cut the postcard to 4x6 cards. I went through my Disney stories book and looked for pictures for them. I used Tiny Text stickers from Cosmo Cricket. I ended up doing both sides of the cards.I then used Black Stabilo pencil around the edges of the pictures and the stickers. I rounded the corners. and used a black ink pad around the edges of the cards.
Side 1
The sticker says "Wonder"
Side 2
The stickers here say "Inspire" and "Believe in yourself"
Coffee Coffee Coffee
In September a Hobby Lobby not to far from my house opened. I didn't get there til a couple weeks ago. Its Huge! I did a quick look around and the only thing I got was the On the Go texture fade. I came home and made a card.
I did a technique that Jennifer McGuire did a month a so ago, but instead of using Distress ink pads I used Dylusions paints in Bubble gum pink and Vibrant Turquoise. I wanted to see ho the technique did with paint. After I put the paint down I brushed on pewter Perfect Pearls. Then I placed the cardstock in the texture fade and ran it through the big shot.
I stamped the Julie Nutting doll on book paper colored her with Neo Color 2's and then dressed her in scraps. I took a piece of cardstock that I had dragged Dylusions ink a while back and ran the texture fade in the big shot. I cut a coffee cup out and glued it to her. A morning without coffee sentiment is from Viva Las VegaStamps! After that was put together I put the piece on a white card base.
