Earlier this year Shannon Green messaged me if I wanted to participate in the 2nd quarter of inspiration conspiracy YouTube video hop. Of course I said yes. The hop is design to help smaller YouTube channels grow. there was 13 of us, 3 were establish channels with. Starting out I had about over 600 (I forget the number I had before the hop.)
If you have or haven't been to my channel before. When I first started I was mostly a show and tell type. Back then I didn't have room for a set up for doing process videos(I had a small table that my computer was on and not much room for much room for arting, but I managed), and didn't know if I could do them with my digital. Then late last year or early this year, I decided to take the plunge and try doing a process video. And been doing them ever since.
So anyway.... I had no idea what I wanted to do for my project for the hop. The main rule for the hop was the video had to be 10 minutes or under. ACK! I just decided to make whatever and see if it will work. I did a couple of things and they went long, even with editing out drying times, and speeding up the video. But alas I did a page that was under 10 minutes and that was with pictures! I wanted to d a voice over with this video, but I wasn't happy with the audio, so I stuck to the music.
My subbies was already growing a little before the hop due to the ICAD videos I was doing everyday. but with the hop it grew a lot. I think grew 40 or 50 new subbies. My channel is still growing. Today I'm at 783 or 784 it goes back and forth. My goal is to get 1,000 by the end of the year. At the time of the hop I was hoping to get 1,000 at the end of the hop, Okay I was dreaming there. lol I think there a lot more opportunities with channels with over 1,000 subbies, Well, no not think, I know there are. and I hope to get to take part in those opportunities sooner than later. :)
Okay enough babbling. :) here is the page I did for the hop and below is the video I did for the hop. Thank you Shannon for asking me to take part!
